AP Poll vs Harris Poll

Although there's not a lot of data to work with, this might shed some light on how much better (or not) it would be if the AP and coaches polls did not come out until late September or early/mid-October.

NOTE: Due to Ohio State not being ranked in the 2012 Harris Polls, rankings 9-11 (October 7) and 4-11 (December 2) were moved up one spot for the purpose of this research.

NOTE: Due to USC not being ranked in the 2011 Harris Polls, rankings 6-11 were moved up one spot for the purpose of this research.
